We are currently looking to appoint a Payroll Supervisor

Job Title:  Payroll Supervisor

Role Overview:

As our Payroll Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our payroll operations. You will be responsible for managing a small payroll team, and ensuring the timely and accurate processing of employee payrolls for a range of different sized clients.

Proficiency with BrightPay software is essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

➡️ Supervise a small team.

➡️ Process end-to-end weekly and monthly payrolls using BrightPay software.

➡️ Calculate and process statutory deductions (PAYE, National Insurance, pension contributions).

➡️ Investigate and resolve any payroll discrepancies.

➡️ Collaborate with the Service Delivery Manager to improve payroll processes.

➡️ Maintain compliance with payroll regulations and our internal policies and processes.

Essential abilities for this role:

➡️ At least 2 years’ experience working within a payroll bureau or accountancy practice at supervisor level.

➡️ Proficiency in the use of Brightpay software.

➡️ Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel, especially with the use of formulae.

➡️ Deep understanding of UK payroll regulations.

➡️ Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

➡️ Ability to manage and prioritise workload effectively.

➡️ Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and team members.

Desirable abilities for this role:

➡️ Experience using CCH Central (particularly CCH Document Management and CCH OneClick).

➡️ Experience using Generative-AI tools.
