1st Newton Aycliffe Scouts Group were delighted to accept delivery of seven second-hand laptops donated by #TeamWaltons.
“We’re thrilled to have received the laptops, which will make a huge difference to our Beavers, Cubs and Scouts and will definitely be put to good use during activities. Having the laptops will allow us to participate fully in the JOTI, which is the world’s largest digital and radio Scout event, prompting friendship and global citizenship.
The only outlay has been the price of new hard drives, which is fantastic” commented Sharon Hutchinson, Operations Director at Waltons, and Beaver Scout Leader of 1st Newton Aycliffe Scout Group.
“We’re so proud of the fact that many of our team volunteer their spare time working alongside various local community groups, and it’s a pleasure to be able to support them in doing so however we can” commented Paul Harrison, MD at Waltons.
