Damola qualified as a Chartered Accountant in Nigeria in 2006, and became a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 2024.
Damola has extensive audit experience in practice. He has also worked in industry and public sector in various internal audit and finance roles.
Outside of work, Damola is an avid football fan, who enjoys his role as an amateur referee/coach as part of his local community in Middlesbrough. He is also a very keen supporter of Manchester United.
Damola is the proud father of three teenage children, “who are all unique in how they challenge him in different areas of life”.
